Q. What are the age restrictions on car hire?
The minimum age required to rent a car from Seega is 21. The maximum age is 74. Drivers aged between 21 - 24 will incur a higher vehicle excess than normal ($3000) For more details please see the insurance section.

 

Q. Do I need a credit card to hire a vehicle?
Yes, a valid credit card is required to hire a Seega vehicle. The card holder will also be required to produce photo ID to verify ownership of the credit card. Please note that Visa and Mastercard "Debit Cards" are not a valid "Credit Card" and will not be accepted.

 

Q. Can I pick the car up at the airport?
Currently Seega Rent A car doesn’t have any depots located on airport premises. Our offices are conveniently located no more than 5-15 mins away from airports. Seega Rent A Car passes on the cost savings by operating away from the airport directly to our customers in the form of cheaper rates.

 

Q. Are there any restrictions on where I can take the vehicle?
Seega permits the use of its vehicles anywhere in Australia provided it is a sealed road. Use of the vehicle on a non-sealed road will void all insurance leaving you responsible for the entirety of the vehicle and or damages.

 

Q. Does Seega supply roof racks or can I bring my own?
Seega Rent A Car does not provide roof racks or allow their use, this is due to the damage they cause to the vehicles. In our experience even the soft style of roof racks cause some damage and are therefore unacceptable.

 

Q. How many drivers can we put on a contract?
You have the opportunity to put up to 4 drivers on each contract. Unlike other car rental companies we do not charge for additional drivers. This is just another way that Seega Rent A Car cuts through the bull and delivers better value.

 

Q. Can I pick up or drop off a vehicle outside your opening hours?
We can provide a service to collect or return you vehicle outside our regular operating hours. However this incurs additional cost in staff hours that is passed on to you. Q. Do you provide infant or child seats?
Yes, Seega Rent A Car can provide suitable seats for a range a ages and sizes.

 

Q.How many free kilometres do we get?
Seega Rent A Car offers our clients a standard 200 kilometres per day free. Any excess kilometres over the free allocation are charged at 26c per kilometre.

Insurance

All vehicles in the Seega Rent A Car fleet have third party property coverage at no additional cost. This means that any damage or injury you may cause to a third party by the rental vehicle is covered. The only thing you need to consider is your own liability for the hire car. In case of an accident Seega Rent A Car offers a number of different collision damage waiver (CDW) options to reduce your liability depending on your budget.
